I really like the Pro Git book mentioned by Diego.

As a reference after initial familiarization the Git Cheat Sheet is nice:

As a quick start for svn users, http://git-scm.com/course/svn.html is
helpful.

Anyway, git was not intended as an svn replacement, it should not surprise
that it is quite different.
