The segfault happens with ffmpeg too, this is not a MPlayer problem. Since
there is already a patch incoming from libav (I have not checked it works
yet, but a segfault is difficult to miss), I believe it would only muddle
things to do anything in parallel. Let us hope it gets applied fast.
