Although I've spotted still some bugs in the Win32 GUI concerning
preferences, I'm wondering whether this might be a Windows only issue.
A MinGW port behaves strangely, too, while the Wine port seems ok. I have
to investigate further, but I wish I'd have more knowledge of Windows.
