Since I missed re-reviewing the modified version of the patch:

I pointed this out before, and I didn't hear anyone disagree with it -
unless I'm misremembering the standard, "FPS" should be capitalized.

The construction "The Matroska" is not valid AFAIK. You should probably
just drop the "The".

While I agree with the rest of the decapitalizations, I think that
"Advanced Audio Coding" should still be capitalized, because it's a
formal name whose original is capitalized.

Does EDC in fact stand for simply "error detection", or something like
"error detection codes"? If the latter (which VERA seems to support),
you might want to use the full phrase before the acronym.

Too much commage in this last sentence. I proposed one possible fix in
my earlier comments; did it get rejected, or missed?

I've also spent a few minutes trying unsuccessfully to explain why, the
current form is a problem, and in the process came up with an alternate
solution. Drop the first comma (after "standard") and replace "Given
that" with "Because", and you'll have fixed the problem at the expense
of a little verbal sophistication.
