  Could you please correct this to say `libavcodec MPEG-4' or
something the like (lavc mpeg4, FFmpeg MPEG-4, whatever).
  I fear readers might get the wrong impression what libavcodec
is even if you say `instead of MPEG-4 codecs' which is also
strictly speaking not correct because as far as I can tell there
is no full MPEG4 implementation out there.

  The terms (usage) is already quite misleading so we should
not add to the confusion IMHO.
