2004. augusztus 13. 17.15-kor Droszler Attila ezeket a bolcs gondolatokat 
fogalmazta meg:
> Ennel sokkal izgalmasabb lenne, ha tudna a mencoder az smpt. Valahol

Az mplayerhq.hu-n levo man tanusaga szerint libavcodec-kel ilyet tud a 
mencoder:
lavc (-lavcopts)

   threads=<1-8>
                 Maximum number of threads to use (default: 1).
