[Mplayer-users] my adventure with mplayer-cvs

Hi!!

I was a happy user of mplayer 0.11pre24 ... Now I have heard the
news about subtitles support, so I rush into CVS

Since I have no CVS installed I got it from

http://mplayer.sourceforge.net/snapshots/mplayer-main-current.tar.bz2

but it is VERY buggy in comparasion with the old-good 0.11pre24

First:

I have to do $insmod ~/mga_vid.o mga_ram_size=8 because mga_vid.o
detects 16MB RAM!!! I have only 8!!

insmod mga_vid.o without any parameters gives me:

(btw, using mplayer -vo xmga/mga with this setup gives a green window)

now with $insmod ~/mga_vid.o mga_ram_size=8

But when I play something, I get like "interferences", like when you
are watching TV and your antena screws up! some horizontal green lines
that appears whenever I push the upper arrow.

Now I am getting back to 11pre24, but I was dying about the subtitles
support 

Any thought?
