[Mplayer-users] savage 4 xvideo?

Hello:

I have a savage 4 based card but xfree 4.0.2 does not seem to load the video 
extension for it: I do not see any:

  (II) Loading extension XVideo

line in the xfree log and mplayer obviously cannot use xv as vo option.

At work, I also have xfree 4.0.2 on a similar linux system, but I do see the 
above line (the card being voodoo based though).

Maybe the savage 4 implementation of xfree does not support xvideo?
Any thoughts?

I would really appreciate any help...
