In which (older) version of mplayer is usable the pgm output? i want to test
ffmpeg encoder and streaming server with pgm, and in the docs they write:

* ffmpeg can use YUV files as input :
<...>
* ffmpeg can use YUV PGM files generated by the excellent MPlayer
  (http://thot.banki.hu/esp-team/MPlayer.html). They contain the Y
component in their upper part, and the U and V component in their
  lower part.

Or, is there another software for lin to do it (generate PGM files)?
