I made some bugfixes, but I only know about the bugs, which were reported
yesterday :)
later I will read my letters.
about pseudocolour: I think it's like the old good 8bit palette, but I
need the output of vo_fbdev.
Christoph, please run mplayer with verbose level 2:
mplayer -v -v ...
and send me the lines beginning with fb
and send me the output of 'fbset -i' also, please.
maybe there is a bug in vo_fbdev, and it misdetects the visual.
