[Mplayer-users] audio problem + solution

Redhat 7.0, 2.4.2 kernel, and from /proc/pci, my sound integrated chip:

  Bus  0, device   9, function  0:
    Multimedia audio controller: C-Media Electronics Inc CM8338A (rev 16).
      IRQ 11.
      Master Capable.  Latency=32.  Min Gnt=2.Max Lat=24.
      I/O at 0xdc00 [0xdcff].

Then the sound works. But note the 'mp3lib: i586 processor detected.' line 
(in error, since I have a Pentium III).
