[Mplayer-users] strange video problems, again, sorry ! :(

Hey,

I have worked out that my strange video performance is due to kernel 2.4.3. 
If I use the kernel that comes with Mandrake 8, 2.4.2-3, mplayer runs great. 
Should I be including any specific items in the kernel to make it play 
smootly?

These avis played great under 2.4.2, anyone have any ideas why they 
shouldn't run under 2.4.3?
