Is this new version free of bugs? Because when compiling mplayer, I
still need to give in the option --disable-gcc-checking (this is mplayer
from cvs) when I user gcc-2.96-??? I don't remember which upgrade it is
though, because I actually made an upgrade from redhat...

I really don't want to change distro's since I've been using redhat fro
years and changing distro will get me to learn new stuff, and I'm a kinda
lazy person :-(
