of course. it's for opendivx (fourcc div1 or divx) format, not for 
DivX ;-) 3.11 (fourcc div3).

for me divx4linux won all tests :(
maybe you tried the buggy (slow) beta2 version of divx4.
beta1 is much faster.

not really, until ffmpeg codec not supports postprocessing and divx4 is so
buggy.
