[Mplayer-users] Couldn't open required DirectShow codec

show me output of:
ls -la /usr/lib/win32/

maybe files aren't there, or you don't have enough rights reading them.

if still not ok, then edit loader/Makefile:
remove the '#' from this line:

DEFINES=$(WIN32_PATH) -D__WINE__ -Ddbg_printf=__vprintf \
        -DTRACE=__vprintf # -DDETAILED_OUT

then recompile stuff (make distclean;make) and send me the output.
