[Mplayer-users] solaris mplayer

I am trying to get MPlayer-20010825 to compile on sparc solaris 8 and
I feel I'm almost there but ...

Everything seems to compile just fine but I am missing the codecs.conf
file presumably because it is trying to use the opensource codecs not
the win32 ones.  Do I need to install something else as well as
Mplayer?  I couldn't work out if the opensource codecs are included or
need to be installed separarely.
