Well, I suspect that Crusoe does support MTRR, but that no one has written
support for it in the kernel. At least this is how I understand it from
a bit of limited reading on the Crusoe architecture. 

For DVD playback you really are going to need a machine with good bus
speed. Just how fast this has to be is open to speculation.
