[MPlayer-users] Assertion `this_bits >= min_bits' failed

here's some interesting/additional information.

VBR_encode is always failing at the same point in that file.  However, i was 
ABLE to rip another one.  the only difference i can find is that working one 
has more chapters that the first.  at the end of each chapter the V / A-V 
counters seem to get reset(~500).  Now the failing disc has only a few, very 
long chapters and mencoder doesn't make it to the end of the first.

Being unfamiliar with VOB's, i'm not sure whether the chapter information 
even matters here. again, note that small files (TRAILERS) work fine from the 
failing disc.

oh, and debugging sucks when it takes 2+ hours to induce screwy behavior.
