Hello, my investigations show that the build-in deinterlace of DivX 4.02 works quite well, but has it's problems with SSE enabled CPUs. So it is just a question of right compilation and maybe a bit bug fixing to make it work on SSE CPUs. But I've learned to use the mencoder filters and they work fine to me also.
