I just get garbage when I use this. The ac3 stream I have was dumped from a 
dvd so the audio stream has several chanels of sound and I need to downmix 
this into stereo pcm or wav audio. Mplayer must do this when it decodes a dvd 
and outputs stereo to your speakers, so I was just wondering if I could dump 
this to a file rather than the ac3 stream.
