The interesting part in that url is "(whatever release you use)". This
should be a warning to many redhat/mandrake users who have been lucky with 
the latest and greatest of gcc compiler revisions so far as mplayer
compilation is concerned.

If the mplayer developers want the specifics of the compiler problems 
faced by the gnomemeeting developers then direct contact is advised.

And the Red Had advisory says a new version was made available on
2000-12-19, so what's your point?
