Yes, some experiments last night led me to the point of asking "how do
I use VESA with my secondary adapter" and some thinking it through I
thought that I cannot.  ~sigh~  This supposition is correct then?

I guess in the meanwhile, the hardware I have hooked up to the TV will
have to be my primary display, running X on my secondary display and
doing Mplayer on the primary display.  It's going to suck to have my
console on the TV.
