[MPlayer-users] "Can't open VMG info!" error...

Hello

I installed mplayer from sources and tried to play a DVD, and got the
following error:

Reading disc structure, please wait...
libdvdread: Can't seek to block 256
libdvdread: Can't open file VIDEO_TS.IFO.
Can't open VMG info!

Does anybody have an idea why this might be happening? Can't play it with
Xine either. This is my first (and so far the only) dvd, so, I don't have
a chance to check if I can play other dvds, or is it the problem with my
system... (a 900MHz Duron, pretty capable hardware, I would say,
nvidia...), 2.4.16 kernel, SuSE-7.3.
