that's the way it's done compiling mga_vid so it makes sense to use the
same way when installing.

and this way, when you're running on 2.4.16, and just compiled 2.4.17, and
made mga_vid for it, you'll end up with driver installed to
/lib/modules/2.4.16/misc.

This grepping may be ugly and stupid but it at least tries to stay
consistend with mga_vid building process.
