Yes I did.  I just tried again and did notice when running gcc there is 
a "-g" flag.  I knew the output is useless but had no idea why it is 
like that.  Any clue?

I can walk through the first few lines of execution with gdb.  But it 
looks like the seg fault occurs deep into the codes.  Any idea what 
function I should look at?
