[MPlayer-users] I read the FAQ! (Black screen with audio)

Sorry to reply to my own message,

I realized I wasn't explicit. I know this exact question is covered in the 
FAQ, but the solution provided (update codecs.conf) did not help. Here is the 
error message I'm getting:

Detected video codec: [null] drv:0 prio:0 (NULL codec (no decoding!))

BTW, My Win32 codecs files are up to date.
