You're right.
Just checked this, and got the same result: no mmx/sse code in it.
I don't know why did i see such code in it before :)

I've just done some benchmarking, and got results:
mp3lib:
BENCHMARKs: V:   0.000s VO:   0.000s A:   0.298s Sys:  20.513s =   20.811s
BENCHMARK%: V:  0.0000% VO:  0.0000% A:  1.4339% Sys: 98.5661% = 100.0000%
mp3acm:
BENCHMARKs: V:   0.000s VO:   0.000s A:   0.415s Sys:  20.393s =   20.808s
BENCHMARK%: V:  0.0000% VO:  0.0000% A:  1.9952% Sys: 98.0048% = 100.0000%

=> new mp3lib is much faster! great work!
