[Mplayer-users] Divx4Linux confusion

Hi A'rpi and Sparky, 

I'm utterly confused.

A'rpi, I guess you wrote the integration of DivX4Linux into Mplayer?
I'm asking because I can't find any MEMORY_REQS step before 
initializing the codec. Was this procedure removed? 
If not, why does it work with mplayer? And if yes, why does PM's API tell me 
to (still) use it???
