Hmm, I did an update and got a couple of failed hunks.

Ok.

Here we go:
btdemo1:/tmp>cvs -z9 -d:pserver:anonymous at mp.dev.hu:/cvsroot/mplayer co -d mplayer main
btdemo1:/tmp>cd mplayer
btdemo1:/tmp/mplayer>./version.sh
btdemo1:/tmp/mplayer>cat version.h
#define VERSION "0.17cvs-010723-15:11"
btdemo1:/tmp/mplayer>zcat ../mplayer_ipaq_patch.gz | patch -p0
patching file Makefile
patching file configure
patching file TOOLS/mpfc/Makefile
patching file TVout/fbset/Makefile
patching file drivers/Makefile
patching file drivers/syncfb/Makefile
patching file libavcodec/Makefile
Looks clean to me. Compiles and cross-compiles just fine for x86 and ipaq.
Attached.
