[Mplayer-users] Unicode support?

I found out in the source that Mplayer with -unicode switch doesn't realy support unicode
(it probably should work with UTF-8) -- it reads at most 2 bytes per character and doesn't
recognize UTF-8 sequences. It will surely work with euc-kr (Korean) encoding used by mpfc
font creator. However, adding true unicode support will break current Korean support.
