this one adds some extra code, which makes things a bit slower if no
double-skipped macroblocks (no black bars). but it won't make it 2x slower.

maybe it's buggy, and do emms soemwhere not really needed.
emms is very slow on p1/k6/celeron systems.

(maybe it used femms before, which is very fast on k6?)
