But for DivX ;-) (MS MPEG 4 V3) codec, you usually choose maximum
crispness for best quality, unless your going for one cd rips, were
divx codec tends to drops frames with high crispness (at around
700kbps already), so you might need to decrease crispness to 75 or so
to make video fluid (otherwise video looks like skipping once a second
or so).
