One warning here: if you have a low-end or very high-end monitor, these
sorts of tools don't generate correct timings.

I think so .. try this:

1024x768 @ 100 Hz:
Modeline "1024x768 at 100"   115.5  1024 1056 1248 1440  768  771  781  802 -HSync -VSync

1024x768 @ 60
Modeline "1024x768 at 60"    65    1024 1032 1176 1344   768  771  777  806 -hsync -vsync

Now, in your display subsection of XF86Config, just put:

Modes "1024x768 at 100" "1024x768 at 60" ...

You'll come up, by default, at 100 Hz. If you play a 30 fps DivX (ie: 30
Hz refresh) you can go to the 60 Hz refresh by just switching modes. 
This only makes sense to do if you're using an ATI card.
