hmm. the question is good.
they're working on the decoder (porting to teapot, c64 etc, and optimizing
it) but the encoder haven't changed in the last 2 months.

but they are supporting Eugene's "Sparky" codec, it's an 100% GPL
mpeg4v2 (opendivx-compatible) implementation in C++ (sux).
I've read that it will be named opendivx encore v2.0

Btw I think that Sparky stuff isn't 100% legal, but nobody cares.
it has some huffman tables and algos stolen from the original DivX codec
DLL (at least i've read this in teh changelog earlier).
