[Mplayer-users] DivX splitting

Hello all .. 

Awhile back, there was a post on this list asking about a tool to split
DivX files under Linux. 

Well, there is: qtrecompress from the Quicktime4Linux package

It takes an AVI and allows recompressing it to QT, or splitting it. 
You can split by specifying frames or seconds.
