[Mplayer-users] Compile Errors

I've been trying to compile MPlayer on a fairly fresh RedHat 7.1 system (I
upgraded gcc to 3.0), and I'm getting the following errors upon running
make:

DS_Filter.h:7:18: string: No such file or directory     <--a lot of no such
file or directory errors similar to that one

and then it ends on this note:

DS_AudioDec.cpp:163: 'endl' undeclared (first use this function)
make[1]: *** [DS_AudioDec.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/root/MPlayer-0.18pre3/loader/DirectShow'
make: *** [loader/DirectShow/libDS_Filter.a] Error 2


any ideas?
