i use hypermail with this procmail line to archive the lirc mailing list.

:0:lirc_sourceforge.lock
* ^TOlirc-list@
|/usr/bin/tee -a /home/heinrich/Mail/lirc_sourceforge | /usr/bin/hypermail -i -u -b "http://fsinfo.cs.uni-sb.de/~columbus/lirc/" -l "lirc mailing list" -d "/home/heinrich/public_html/lirc/list-archive/sf/"

you can take a look at it
 http://www.wh9.tu-dresden.de/~heinrich/lirc/list-archive/

hybermail is rather stupid about mail dates ... it accepts the (often
wrong) date that the senders set instead of the receive date by its
own system. except for that it is quite ok ... but it doesn't do that
nice pipermail stuff like archiving by month and providing a raw mbox
form, and so on...

htdig is a nice addition to keep people from asking FAQs. btw .. i
wasn't subscribed to mplayer-users when i posted
"vo_3dfx not supported anymore?"

could somebody bounce me all replies before this one? or maybe a
complete mbox of the past traffic?

thanx in advance
-heinrich
