[Mplayer-users] Voodoo 3 and Xv

I've got a voodoo 3 3000 video card and did not succeed in playing divx
and opendivx files with the xv output.

For the divx file, which needs the YUY2 format, mplayer returns the
following message:

And for the opendivx file, which need the YV12 format, mplayer returns:

The MPlayer-FAQ says I need to update to more recent drivers. But I use
Xfree86 4.0.3 (debian unstable packages) and kernel 2.4.4 (debian
source, build myself). 

Is there anyone who has succeed in playing movies in xv mode with a
voodoo 3 card? With what configuration ? Any tips?
