[Mplayer-users] I am a useless GIT - Please help

I have a K6-2 400mhz Red Hat 7.1 machine.  MPlayer seems to compile and
install fine but running causes a core dump.  IF I choose a null video
output and no sound with the optioin "-vo null -nosound" it runs fine.

Perhapps I am doing something silly?

Any help is appreciated.
