[Mplayer-users] -vo xv output in a window, should it work?

I just tried -vo xv -nofs and it doesn't seem to work, mplayer just
exits with this error message:

X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  1 (X_CreateWindow)
  Value in failed request:  0x0
  Serial number of failed request:  10
  Current serial number in output stream:  11

Is it supposed to work or is it a bug? Hmm, maybe I should practise writing
a proper bug report if this isn't a common problem...
