Grab newest version of the driver from www.probe.com/timr/savage40.html 
(binary needs at least XFree 4.0.3-4), or grab beta binary from 
ftp://thot.banki.hu/incoming/ (older, works with older XFree too).

Btw. it's in the docs somewhere.
