[MPlayer-users] Integrity check

Here is an idea for a nice new feature - an integrity checker
e.g. mplayer -check <file>
It should just check if <file> is valid or if it contains errors - no 
viewing and it should be callable from automatic scripts.
This would be useful if you have some corrupt files and want to sort them out.
I don't know if this is difficult to implement or if you even like the idea...
What do you think about it?
