[MPlayer-users] mpeg-header in mov file ?

I have got a Quicktime mov file. It's playable with other players but
mplayer doesn't detect it as mov.
Instead it quits with appended error.
If I cut the first 75 Megs they play perfectly. Maybe you could make an
option to select input file format
by commandline (mov,avi,etc.) or you can make it possible that mplayer
continues with input file format detection if it gets this error.
Sorry, I can't upload the whole movie because it would take some weeks with
my 56k connection :(

By the way is it planned to support uncompressed RGB avis ?
