[MPlayer-users] mpeg problem with mplayer 0.50

I have the 0.50 version, and the win32 codecs, but when i tried to play an mpeg movie my system stopped. (just like an M$ os)
I don't like it. There was nothing: no messages from mplayer, no messages from kernel. My systerm stopped immediately after I pressed the Enter.

I can play avis, but i need mpeg support.

My system is:

mandrake 8.1
gcc 3.01,
glibc 2.2.4-9mdk
glibc devel 2.2.4-9mdk

Please help me!
