[MPlayer-users] avi file format error

I tried playing a avifile with a recent cvs as shown by:

MPlayer CVS-011111-15:12(C) 2000-2001 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS!)

It gave me an error message part of which is:

My codecs.conf is uptodate. The same file is played with avifile so I am
wondering if this is an unsupported format.
