read my mail again. that lines were there for gabucino to be added to faq.
-nosound helps for people with video speed problems.
of course you won't hear a-v desync with nosound. 

but you still should try different audio drivers.
if the delay isn't solved, then upload the file to ftp, i'll check.
please try to find a small file with visible desync.
