[Mplayer-users] Problem /w reading AVI files.

1. Hardware: Duron750 cpu on a QDI kinetiz 7E-A motherboard(kt133a)
             Radeon VE graphics card.
             SBlive 1024
2. Software: Slackware 8.0 with:
   2.4.10 kernel with the kt133a+athlon-optimizations patch(and without it)
   gcc 2.95.3
   XFree86 Version 4.1.0
   Mplayer - various versions and CVS snapshots(including 0.50-pre3)
3. Problem Description:
Mplayer can't read .avi files(no problems with .mpg) on this
system, while it works on my old m/b with the same hardware
components except the cpu(old mb: abit bp6 /w 2*450 celerons).
I tried recompiling with/without the optimizations(mmx,3dnow,etc)
and nothing worked. Also tried a kernel without athlon optimizations and
that didn't work either.
