Guys, what are you playing with this new interactive dialog about gcc 2.96 in 
configure script ? Everyone already know you don't like this gcc version, 
what the point of yet another warning ? If i use the -disable-gcc-check, i 
know what i am doing, i don't want to play some additional ame 
try-to-find-the-correct-word game. It's childish, and it break automatized 
building process, as in rpm building.
Morevoer, such a change between a release candidate and a final version 
(along with the fibmap player disparition) is inadequate, where only bugfixes 
should occurs.
If you really want to add useful features, may i suggest to distinguish 
between a configuration dir (for codecs and player configuration file) and a 
data dir (for fonts and skins), as other standards unix apps ?
