[MPlayer-users] Vanilla gcc-3.0.1 compile problems

(. Something is wonky, why is mplayer-users getting bug reports sent
to gcc-bugs? .)

Really, there are two possibilities here: Flaky hardware (RAM or
cache), or buggy GCC.  I doubt flaky hardware is the cause here.
