[MPlayer-users] Position of subtitles

Hi,

mplayer draws subtitles ( and OSD) in the area of video. Wouldn't be better to
show these stuff below (or above) of main area ?  

Mainly with movies ripped from DVD in resolution 640x288 played in 640x480,
there is plenty of free space in vertical direction.
